Product Description:
A copper-clad steel is a type ofs metallic material consisting of a steel core with a uniform layer of copper surrounding it. It can be used in vertical grounding electrode and is available in copper-clad steel bar, tape and wire (both round and stranded).
Copper-clad steel can be produced in two main different ways: through continuous casting and electroplating.

The Copper-clad-steel grounding material is an extremely cost effective option as it is much cheaper than using pure copper rods. It provides a uniform copper coating of high tensile strength which will not crack of take off when the conductor is bent. Additionally, the high efficiency of reducing the resistance of copper also bring about a significant reduction in the length of the horizontal grounding body by 1/3 for the design of the high-resistance section, thus greatly reducing the excavation amount of the earthwork.
