Enhanced Corrosion Resistance & Barrier Protection
The copper acts as a corrosion barrier, shielding the steel core from environmental deterioration. In copper-clad systems, the layer is metallurgically bonded—with continuous plating, the copper is tightly integrated—providing long-lasting corrosion protection, especially in outdoor or harsh environments.
Continuous plating on industrial-scale flat steel—in long strips—means fewer seams or welded joints during installation. As a result, resistance due to seams is reduced, electrical continuity remains high, and installation labor and failures are minimized.
